AR Utilities are a leading UK energy broker for gas and electricity providing procurement, management and energy saving technologies to UK businesses. We reduce total costs for our customers by combining low energy prices with smart buying strategies and products guaranteed to reduce energy consumption at site. Our customers range in size from the smallest high street shop, to some of the largest energy users in the UK.
AR Utilities are helping UK businesses save money by buying gas and electricity from the right supplier at the right time, providing tools to accurately track energy consumption and supplying energy-saving technologies to reduce energy consumption.
With our partner Blizzard Utility we currently buy and manage over £100m of annual gas and electricity expenditure on behalf of our clients which range from small single site businesses, to large energy consumers including international airports, NHS hospitals, manufacturers and multi-site operators in the hospitality and retail sectors.
Through continued contact with the energy markets and all major UK gas and electricity suppliers, we buy energy for our clients when market conditions are favourable to ensure the best prices. This activity is often performed months in advance of contract end dates and takes into consideration current and future market conditions, resulting in savings of up to 40% for our clients.
"Energy has become a significant cost for all UK businesses as wholesale energy markets continue to rise, and the cost of moving to renewable energy sources is borne by the consumer. Blizzard and AR Utilities are helping our customers reduce and take more control over these costs", Martin Rawlings, Executive Chairman.
All Suppliers we use guarantee the rates quoted, there are no sudden uplifts halfway through the contract.
ARUtilities completed their work in a professional and efficient manner... we are considering furthering our business relationship with ARUtilities as a direct result of their performance.
The great thing about ARUtilities is that they take away the worry. They would only contact me when they needed me to either sign a form or had to run some numbers past me. I knew that I could concentrate on working on other things. Furthermore; the deal that they got me is excellent. I would happily recommend ARUtilities to other businesses.
Working with ARUtilities has been great. As a result of their efforts we are looking at saving around £10,000 on our energy costs over the next three years, and this at a time when energy costs are generally increasing. Well done ARUtilities.
The level of savings we obtained was well above our expectations and ARUtilities delivered a truly excellent result with savings in excess of 24%... that's what I call exceptional customer service.
Getting the best gas and electricity quote is more than simply checking prices on the internet. For example, not all suppliers publish business prices and many of the best tariffs are not available online. AR Utilities will get prices and tariffs from all the major UK utility suppliers to secure the best deal for your business, which also takes into consideration the way the market is moving.
Waiting until your contract end date before arranging a new supply contract is a high risk strategy. Failure to give adequate notice to your existing supplier may mean you are stuck in an expensive contract for a further year. And even if you have given notice, arranging a new contract at the last minute may also force you to buy at the wrong time when the market is high. Buying forward is almost always the best purchasing strategy to save money.
Did you know that your existing gas and electricity contracts will automatically end when you leave your old premises? But did you also know that you will be supplied at "out of contract" rates at your new premises until you sign a new supply contract. These rates can be up to three times as expensive as contracted prices!
Once you have secured a new contract, keeping a close eye on the energy markets is the key to ensuring long term savings. AR Utilities will do this work for you and advise the best time to either extend your existing contract or switch ahead to a new supplier to take advantage of favourable market conditions.
